Passenger Guidelines

Your safety and comfort are our top priorities. Before you sail with us, please take a moment to review our passenger guidelines. Here you'll find important information on travel requirements, boarding procedures, baggage policies, safety measures, and onboard etiquette. By following these guidelines, you help ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey for everyone on board.

  1. Printed e-voucher must be presented at Starlite Ferries, Inc ticketing office at the port of origin.
  2. Passengers must be at the port three (3) hours prior to their departure schedule. Boarding cut off is thirty (30) minutes prior to departure schedule.

Note: Starlite Ferries, Inc. reserves the right to deny boarding of passengers who arrive one (1) hour prior to the trip schedule.

3. E-voucher will be replaced by an actual ticket at the port. A VALID PHOTO ID must be presented for verification purposes. For Senior Citizens, PWD, and Students: the OSCA ID, PWD ID and Student ID, respectively, must be presented upon check-in.

Other Valid Photo ID:

    • Any government issued ID
    • Validated School ID
    • Company ID
    • Birth Certificate
    • Barangay Certificate
  1. Paying passengers except 11 years old and below have up to 50 kilograms of baggage allowance. Any excess shall be charged ten pesos per kilogram (10php/kg) accordingly.
  2. For bookings with vehicles, Official Receipt (OR) and Certificate of Registration (CR) must be presented upon claiming the actual ticket for verification purposes.
  1. Passengers can rebook before and after trip schedule
  2. Rebooking, regardless of reason, is always subject to slot availability.
  3. Rebooking fee applies[br_tc]10% of the fare if rebooked prior to the trip schedule 30% of the fare if rebooked after the trip schedule.

All amount goes to Starlite Ferries.

  1. Rebooking is free of charge if the reason is due to weather and/or technical concerns.
  2. Procedure:

a.) Contact ticket seller or proceed to any Starlite Ferries Ticketing Offices

If booked If booked through www.starliteferries.com, requests may be emailed at support@barkota.com

b.) Surrender old e-voucher and provide new trip details

c.) Pay rebooking fee (if any)

Cancellation and refund requests can be requested from the ticket seller where the booking has been processed or from any Starlite Ferries ticketing office. If booked through www.starliteferries.com, requests may be emailed at bookings@starliteferries.com.

Guidelines:

    1. Passengers can cancel their bookings before or after the scheduled trip.
    2. Cancellation fee is applied. If the passenger requested before the scheduled trip, the fee is 20% of the fare. Otherwise, the fee is 30% of the fare.
    3. Only the base fare is refundable. Other fees such as service fee, and web admin fee are non-refundable under any circumstances.
    4. For trip cancellations due to weather and technical concerns, no cancellation fee shall be applied.
    5. If the cancellation and refund are requested after the issuance of the actual ticket, the passenger must surrender the actual ticket to proceed. Starlite Ferries strictly implements No Ticket No Refund policy.
    6. Passengers cannot change route when rebooking, only the trip schedule and time can be changed.
